File Strainer is a software developed by Novell PSH to aid network administrators and
system operators in managing their NetWare server storage systems.
File Strainer allows you to create different rules to control the creation and
access to files stored on the server, freeing up a significant amount of storage space.
Rules can be defined to allow or deny access, based on the size and type of that file,
and the permissions of the owner or the user who tries to access it.
Files violating the rules may be removed or moved to the quarantine, or a notification
message might be requested when such an attempt is made.

File Strainer is licensed by the server (i.e. server license regardless of user count) with
continuous right of use, provided that the software is promptly and properly registered
and that the registered user remains in compilance with the terms and conditions of the
Software License Agreement.
The product is registered to specific servers in a certain directory tree, meaning you are
kindly required to provide us with not only the name of your organization but also your
directory tree name and the name of the servers where you intend to run File Strainer.
Most certainly, if you need to change the directory tree name, we will provide you with a
different (again personalized) license file at no further charge.

Prices are stated in Euros, the prices for other currencies are calculated at the actual spot-rates

Unfortunately we can not accept credit card payment, only wire transfers and cheque are supported.

how to order |

The purchase method is very simple:
Send an email with the subject "File Strainer ORDER" to the following address:
strainersales@npsh.hu.
Provide the following information in the body of the message:
- number of licenses (number of servers) required,
- name of the servers,
- name of the eDirectory TREE,
- name of the organization,
- billing address,
- an order number for further reference,
- EU VAT number (European Union members only; note: if you do not have one, an extra 20 % VAT will be surcharged),
- the currency to be invoiced in (EUR or USD).
As a reply you receive the invoice in a reply in the form of a PDF document within two working days.
The message also contains a customized but timebombed license file.
As soon as the money has been wired, you receive a non-expiring license in a new email message.
